Fantastic, safe location for a mother and teen daughter travelling, dining out, and shopping. Would recommend this property to other female travellers.

Right on magnificent mile and close to lots of shopping/museums, close the L for everything else! The hotel was nice and our room was great—spacious and the bathroom had a large soaking tub. Fitness facilities were great and the breakfast (if you get the included breakfast with your stay) was definitely worth it!

I only stayed for one night, so I did not utilize a lot of the extra services. However, the hotel and the room itself were absolutely beautiful. Everything was sparkling clean and staff was friendly throughout.

The breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was convenient for the things we wanted to do downtown. I will definitely be returning. The complementary popcorn and bottled water was a plus!

The location of the hotel for us and our anniversary dinner was excellent and walkable for us, which was essential, since we did not have in/out parking privileges. Our breakfast was delicious and delivered according to our specifications/requests.

The Gwen was great. I absolutely loved that there was a shopping mall connected to the hotel. We didn't have to go outside. All the sites were within walking distance.

We booked the Gwen after we saw it had won a Conde Nast award and we were not disappointed. The rooms were big, comfortable, there was enough light, huge bathroom.... the lobby/bar area is great and buzzing and staff was really friendly. We would happily come back.
